Jose Leboreiro is Vice President, Process and Chemical Research, at Archer Daniels Midland Company. In this role, he is responsible for guiding the technical aspects of the process development team. He works across business-unit lines to help set the technical strategy for process related projects as well as supports business development groups from a technical perspective.
Leboreiro joined ADM in 2008 as a research engineer. He leverages over a decade experience to provide mentorship to project leaders and research teams while working closely with universities and technology vendors to develop best-in-class solutions to drive innovation and profitability. He also serves as the leader of the UIUC R&D Center, and is working to grow ADM’s relationship with faculty, staff and other collaborators.
Leboreiro holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, a M.Sc. in chemical engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico), and a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de la Laguna (Mexico).
