Wenxi “Vince” Yang joined IBRL in August 2020. He is a PhD student in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working in Dr. Keith Cadwallader’s flavor lab. He has a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China and a Master’s in Analytical Chemistry from Beijing Technology and Business University, China.
In his role as a research technician at IBRL, Vince is an expert in conducting GC, GCMS, HPLC, and food formula analysis, as well as providing instrument maintenance in the analytical lab. He looks forward to applying advanced analytical techniques to improve the food product qualities and optimize the food formulas for IBRL’s clients.
