Greg Hanselman is a Senior Manufacturing Executive at Tate & Lyle, focused on Food and Bioprocessing. Greg’s experience in agriculture began as a child growing up on a farm in Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Chemical Engineering. Early in his career, Greg spent more than seven years at Archer Daniels Midland where he worked in the Corn WetMilling Division with 5+ years in the BioProducts Fermentation Plant. He has spent more than 22 years at A.E. Staley Manufacturing/Tate & Lyle where he has had progressive manufacturing responsibilities. During his tenure he lived and worked for 3 years managing Tate & Lyle’s UK wheat operations. Greg also worked 4 years managing the Global Acidulant plants. Greg has a hands-on managing style and is passionate about Team-based Safety and Continuous Improvement.
Greg has been married to Kellie for 26 years. They have 4 sons studying engineering at UIUC. Jacob graduated in 2016 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. Andrew graduated in 2017 with a BS in ECE. Luke is currently a senior studying Civil Engineering and Noah is a freshman starting in Material Science Engineering.
