The fermentation short course is an intermediate level course that covers precision fermentation at pilot scale from start to finish, including downstream processing, economic and industry perspectives.
Our short course is geared toward a smaller group and focuses heavily on hands-on demonstrations. The course attendance is capped at 25 participants, so there are opportunities for in-depth questions and networking with other course participants, speakers, and the IBRL staff.
There are sessions in a classroom setting, along with hands-on demonstrations in small groups in IBRL’s pilot plant and analytical lab. For examples of the types of topics covered, please refer to our course archives for past agendas.
