The Alfa Laval Explorer is a small pilot-scale disc stack centrifuge designed for gentle, continuous clarification and cell harvesting. The machine can be configured for different separation duties, different disc angles and different solid/heavy phase removal through the use of conversion kits, supporting process optimization and scale-up while preserving product quality through low-shear, hermetic operation.
